Photo Gallery - Young Couples (continued)

This appears to be a couple of distinction.  The attire is very fine.

The young woman has a lovely dress that is cinched tight at the waist.  She is wearing a long heart pendant and a silver bracelet.  Her slender arms and hands seem to speak of gentility.

The gentlemen could all but choke on his high collar!  A thin tie with a small jeweled pin keeps the silk in place.

The photograph was taken in New York.

We would imagine this photograph was taken in the early 20th century.  Simple elegance seems to fit nicely with the couple.

The lady's dress is simple white.  Her smile is almost serene.  Her spouse, on the other hand, appears serious and professional while enduring the sitting.  He is wearing a perfectly pressed suit and his shoes have a high polish.  (The toes of his shoes reflect the light).

The individuals offer a pleasant contrast of themselves.  We wonder why they had the photograph taken.

Here is another early 20th century photo.  What we found most interesting is the woman's dress.  The folds of ruffles at the lower portion of her dress are lovely.  Her jacket also carries ruffled sleeves.  All in all, a delightful ensemble.

Her husband is wearing a double-breasted pin striped suit.

The detail that captured our attention was the corsage worn by the woman and matching flower worn by her husband on his lapel.  Doesn't it just look marvelous!

We would imagine this photo was taken in the 1930s or there about.
