Quotes & Poetry

The Unknown Poets

The beauty of the written word is that time can never dim the magic of how it touches us.  How a poet brings words together to create a vision in our minds of love, passion, and loss is compelling.

There are times when the written word remains, but the name of the individual is lost.  We don't know where they were born, how they lived or how fate shaped their life.  One thing did last beyond their grave - the gift of their words.

We wanted to share several poems that contain their own unique message.  Although at the end we can only write "Author Unknown," we can appreciate a voice that is now silent  but their message can still be heard.
