The True Meaning of "Giving" The act of "giving" is to voluntarily present someone with a gift. In the ideal world, giving is done with an open heart in the anticipation of bringing someone else happiness. We also need to consider that a gift need not be restricted to a monetary or tangible object. The Gift of Giving can also be presented in the time you designate to a purpose or individual. The "Giving" In Your Life Take a moment and reflect upon the giving you do in your daily life. If you are a wife and mother, your day-to-day tasks are all about giving, i.e., caring for your family and home. If you are a single professional, you give to staff by how you interact with them every day. Areas of "Giving" There are 3 types of giving that you can experience. Volunteering Over the next few weeks, we will address the three types of giving. Certainly, the Gift of Giving gives us a feeling of warm satisfaction when the day is complete.
