Photo Gallery - The 1920s (continued)

Below are two photographs of Bernice from the early 1920s.  The first photograph is Bernice's high school graduation picture taken in 1924.  The second photograph shows Bernice wearing a ballet costume worn earlier for a high school performance.

There is wonderful detail in the photograph of this attractive young lady.

The flowers to the right of the photograph are full bloom roses which bring a very feminine texture to the overall picture.

The detail of her dress, i.e., soft gathered ruffles on the skirt and arms, is lovely.  A delicate strand of pearls lay on her throat.  Her haircut is typical early 1920s.

All we know is that this photograph was taken by Ebert in Chicago, Illinois.

This photograph is one of our treasures.  The cardboard backed photo is in pristine condition!  Another exciting feature is that the photograph was taken by Stafford (located in Chicago, Illinois) and is personally signed by the photographer, Mr. Stafford.

The dress worn by this young woman is beautiful.  The simple dress is highlighted by decorative sleeves and wide hem of delicate woven lace.  The edges of the sleeves are fir.

How do you like her jewelry?  A beautiful long strand of pearls and sparkling bracelets set off her dress very nicely.
