"If a task is
once begun
We aren't talking about tasks or goals that are the big ones like getting a college degree, painting the front room, or losing that unwanted 15 pounds. How about addressing the minuscule tasks that take only a few minutes but remain on our list for months. Eliminating the Mini-Tasks Think about the mini-tasks that never get done and drive you crazy. Have you ever locked your keys in the car? How about getting a second set made at the local Hardware store? You know how fate works. The next time you lock your keys in the car will be when you're late for work, have to drop the kids off at the sitter, or are late to a meeting. Have you experienced the headaches of all headaches and didn't have an aspirin or other pain reliever in your purse? Consider carrying a small pill container so you will never be without quick relief. Do you find it annoying to work all day with a run in your stocking? The next time you purchase hosiery, pick up an extra pair and tuck it in your desk drawer. You'll be so happy you did! Goal for the Week! Identify five mini-tasks that you can accomplish this week. Life is busy enough without eliminating the little annoyances. You'll be amazed at how much completing some mini-tasks will help your physical and mental well-being.
