Tell us how your recent release, Sabrina's Destiny, came into being?

I love snow globes, angels intrigue me, however, like many authors, it is really hard to pinpoint exactly where the idea for the plot and marrying these two things together came from. I did what I usually do for every book, I play out a "what if" scenario. I also love to take my hero's out of their ordinary world and plunk them into a situation that is so out of their element.

In Sabrina's Destiny, the hero, Jason is an upscale, New York high profile businessman, who will do anything to obtain Sabrina's property, even masquerade as a handyman, thinking that she will be putty in his hands. I had a lot of fun with Jason; he had no idea what he was getting himself into.

With Sabrina's Destiny I was able to encompass many elements and layers to the story, which made it an enjoyable journey for me as a writer. The cut-throat business world, a love story not only between the hero and heroine and another couple, but a love story with themselves. A soul searching adventure for each character to learn how to move forward and release oneself from misplaced guilt. One of the most enjoyable aspect for me was adding a touch of the paranormal.

What do you like about your hero and heroine in Sabrina's Destiny?

Watching Sabrina and Jason grow from flawed people who didn't want know how to love into mature human beings that learned not only how to recognize true soul-fulfilled love but also the power of forgiveness both for themselves and for each other.

Sabrina is a strong heroine, although flustered since life dealt her a bad hand, she has a lot of challenges for a young woman, and the reader can identify with a lot of her struggles, but Sabrina is a survivor. Through her life she has hung on to a great sense of humor and a dream. Her evolution as a young woman is heart wrenching at times, and as her creator it hurt me to have to put her through a lot of challenges, but I believe she needed to travel that road, so that the reader could see that in the end she was able to gain control over her life and her future.

Jason is the kind of hero I love to read about and create, and with his ineptness in his handyman duties he was a lot of fun. He's little vulnerable, has a few alpha characteristics, does not take himself seriously, his sense of humor is endearing and witty, he's loyal to his family and friends, but like a lot of heroes can be a tad dim when it comes to his love life. It not only takes a down to earth woman to help see the light of day, but for Jason to finally take time out of his materialistic world to do some soul searching and better understands himself.
