Pat White Books.jpg (72969 bytes)We had a great time at Pat White's booksigning at Borders Books & Music on Wednesday, July 9, 2003. 

Maureen Greene, the hostess of Let's Talk Romance, had the table full of books.  By the end of the evening, romance reading guests had snapped up nearly every copy.

"Writing the Hard-Sell Romance"

Pat put on a tremendous presentation with her bubbly personality and keen wit.  Guests had the opportunity to "go behind the scenes" as Pat discussed how she went aboutPat White 2.jpg (70428 bytes) writing her "hard sell" book "Got A Hold On You" (August 2003). 

A two-fold lesson that we all walked away with was this:  (1)  you have to write the book that's in your heart! (2) never give up on your dream.

Following Pat's presentation, guests had the opportunity to take pictures, chat with her, and receive an autographed copy of her July 2003 Silhouette release 'Practice Makes Mr. Perfect." 

Another fun part of the booksigning was when Pat drew names for prizes.  Winners smiled with delight!  Guests also had the chance to mingle with several other authors, Myrna Mackenzie and Laurie Brown, while enjoying refreshments.
