Thought of the Week: November 3, 2002 Principle #5: Use Caution When Cleaning!
Use caution when it comes to cleaning your house for the holidays! Take A Deep Breathe & Prioritize There is nothing wrong with wanting to have a home that is sparkling clean for your guests. The holidays are a special time for family and friends to come together and celebrate. The problem is when the task of cleaning dominates your preparations for the holidays. Take a deep breath and prioritize what is important. Keep in mind that every nook and cranny in your house doesn't have to be perfect. Determine the areas that guests will be meandering and sitting. Prepare those areas and call it a day. The important thing to remember is that the holidays are for celebrating, not working yourself into a frantic cleaner. The True Meaning of Holiday Celebration
Goal for the Week! Make a resolution this year that you will use caution when cleaning for the holidays.
