Melissa Hamilton's Presentation Schedule
Time - A Precious Commodity The one commodity I wish I could obtain more of is time. There are a thousand subjects I want to study, countless people I want to meet, and a myriad of places to visit. I've learned to take each day as it comes, embracing each opportunity and relishing the gift of learning. My Passion for Learning Sharing what we learn with others is extremely rewarding. RomanceEverAfter.com is a venue to share some of the vast reservoir of knowledge with our reading community. Expanding one's knowledge in the areas of history, world cultures, the arts, poetry, and other subjects absolutely enhance your romantic journey. True romance is not just about two people but about us as individuals. To reach our full potential, we must continue to "push the envelope" of knowledge, experience, and self-development.
The Opportunity to Interact As much as I enjoy corresponding with
authors, editors, and readers, meeting folks in "real life" is always
a joy. To take a step out of the written word, I speak to groups and do
presentation workshops to allow the teacher within me to surface. Historical re-enactments bring history to life. I had the pleasure of attending the Civil Re-enactment held at the Naper Settlement in 2002. As a speaker, I select topics that will not only be of interest to the audience, but will broaden their awareness to the world around them. My primary subjects of interest concern speaking skills, entrepreneurship, and self-development. I typically allow a question and answer session following the presentation. I always include supplemental handouts and additional references for distribution to the audience. Preparation for these presentations is fun but chatting with an audience afterward is just as enjoyable. The Journey to Self Life has its twists and turns, but I believe the journey to self can be just as intriguing. Every experience and expansion of our knowledge base draws us closer to understanding ourselves. I encourage you to "push the
envelope" and experience the many facets of what life has to offer.
After all, we are given but one life. We want to live it to the fullest!
