Thought of the Week: July 14, 2002
"Where there is great love
there are always miracles."
Love. The passionate affection towards your partner. Love. The warmth of tender affection. Every day is a miracle when we can look around us and discover love. The fascinating thing about love is the breadth and depth to which we can apply the emotion. One kind of love is reserved for your spouse, another for your child, and still another for a close friend. The wonder of love is that it is a commodity in abundance with a never ending reservoir of reserve. If we face an obstacle of seemingly insurmountable odds, love gives us the miracle of strength to endure. The everyday monotony of routine and responsibility can be successfully weathered with love's miracle of unselfishness. Goal for the Week! Take a moment to contemplate the love that surrounds you. Today, say "I love you" to the people you care about. Each day is a gift, and we need to let those we love know they are special!
