Travel - In Your Backyard

"Daffodils in Spring"
The Morton Arboretum, Lisle, Illinois
www.mortonarb.org

We all love daffodils with their wonderful yellow faces and white petals with yellow buttercup centers.  I particularly enjoy discovering fields of daffodils.  Their bright color offers such a contrast to the deep browns, tans, grays, and blacks of the environment around them.

The west side of the Morton Arboretum explodes with fields of daffodils that bring visitors from all over Chicagoland.  If you ever visit Lisle, Illinois in the spring, make sure and stop by.  Your spirit will soar from the experience!
