Christmas Morning Brunch - 2002
Melissa Hamilton

SantaClaus.jpg (20759 bytes)The meteorologists were promising snow, but no one could state it as fact.  We were fortunate to receive a dusting, which made the day extra special.

We enjoyed a delicious brunch on Christmas morning.  One of the delights of the holiday is the food!  A roaring fire, the scent of berry candles, and the cheery songs of Christmas met us at the door.

A relaxing day was had by all, and we look forward to the blessing of another year.  I hope that you and yours enjoy a blessed and safe 2003!

The table took on a mischievous and playful theme this year.  Rudolph the Red-Nose Reindeer and all the characters from the Island of Misfit toys decorated the table.

Here is a close up of the little elf who wanted to be a dentist.  Isn't he cute!

I love the decorations that Christmas brings.

Collecting ornaments is the one part of the holidays that I thoroughly enjoy.  Collecting since I was a little girl in 1974, I've got quite a wide array to put up on the tree at my house!

A delicious spread of food was displayed.  (The hot entrees were set up off camera.)  Doesn't the snow look lovely?  Also, the flames from the fireplace gave the family room a toasty, cozy feeling.
