Children The photos of children of our recent past fascinate and share the innocence evidenced in their smiles and twinkling eyes. Styles, too, can be viewed whether displayed in ringlets of a girl's long hair or cute button down shirt of a boy. We hope you enjoy the "Children" category in our historic photo gallery.
Aren't these two precious? The photograph of this brother and sister was taken in the early twentieth century. Note the little girl's ringlets. She lovingly rests her protective arm around her younger brother. Darling!
We particularly appreciated this photograph. This boy's photo was taken in 1894 in Chicago, Illinois. Note the very long Christening gown. In the original photo, the fine needle work and ruffle at his wrists is clearly evident. The only other notation on the photograph was "Henriett's son". Just imagine, this little boy was born 109 years ago!
