Becoming a Romance Writer

Dashing heroes. Whirlwind booksigning tours. Brushing elbows with the talented and famous. The world of the romance author is filled with exciting moments that only novice writers can imagine. Well…maybe sometimes.

If you speak with most romance authors, they would confess that the world of romance writing is not always glamorous. The reality is that it's hard work. Hours are spent at the computer creating, deleting, and printing. More hours are used speaking with her agent, chatting with her editor, making editorial changes to a manuscript, dreaming up ideas to promote her new release, and writing a proposal for her next book and a dozen other tasks.

On the other hand, every romance author you speak to would also confess - she wouldn't want to do anything else!

Do You Have What It Takes?
