Meet Autumn McCullah I have been an avid reader since grade school, devouring
books from all genres. For years I’ve had these story ideas brewing in my mind
and, while I did put some of the stories down on paper, I I joined some reader groups that gave me wonderful positive feedback, which encouraged me to get published. Something that surprised me on this writing adventure is the marvelous learning process that it generates. In creating characters and settings, I’m learning so much about people, places, animals, flora and fauna, human nature and what drives them. It’s fascinating! The first paragraph of a story is the most difficult. But when you type the last one, there is a tremendous sense of accomplishment that you have taken your characters on a trip of discovery to a happy ending. What three things do you enjoy about writing in your sub-genre? There is great joy and excitement in creating characters that
come alive in the setting I provide for them. Because I believe I love the research that goes into a contemporary romance novel. The town or city might be fictional, but I need to know as much about the part of the state in which I’ve set my story. Publishing Credits
