Thought of the Week: August 25, 2002

"When wealth is lost, nothing is lost;
When health is lost, something is lost;
When character is lost, all is lost!"
by Anonymous

Our theme for August was character - an aspect of yourself which can not be diminished, stolen away or altered unless you allow it to be.

People 432.jpg (43476 bytes)As we travel along our romantic journey, there are a multitude of elements that make our life romantic.  These elements may include special moments with our mate, quiet time with ourselves or creating romantic slants to our environment, both personal and professional.   Wherever we are along our romantic journey, the development of self is an important part of that journey.

Recognizing the positive and negative features of our character allows us to make changes.  The resting places along our romantic journey can be more fulfilling and peaceful if we learn and grow as we "polish" our characters into the "diamond of the first water."

Goal for the Week!

Recognize your positive character traits and work on the ones you would like to change.  Remember, our character is the core of who we are.  Embrace the positive you and sparkle for those around you!
