Allie Shaw at Borders

AllieShawbksignjuly2002II.JPG (5444 bytes)Allie Shaw visited with guests at Borders Books & Music in Naperville, Illinois on July 31, 2002 to sign copies of her books the Impossible Texan and The Impossible Bride.

Guests to Allie Shaw's booksignings are always in for a treat.  Allie's heartwarming smile and gracious manner add to the fun and excitement of a booksigning.

How Has Allie's Life Changed?

Allie discussed how her life has changed since becoming a successfully published author.  She said, "it is tremendously satisfying."  Allie thought life would change, but it hasn't. "I still do the laundry and life can still be crazy," Allie says with a chuckle.

Research In Texas

Allie relished conducting research in Texas for her novel "The Impossible Bride."

"I talked with people, toured old homes, and spoke with the historical society."  Allie mentioned she liked researching through people rather than books.
