Contemporary A Greek God at the
Ladies Club
Fast forward to the 21st century and there's only one person who has that ability -- talented sculptress Alexandra de Marco. She's found photographs of the damaged statue and for a year has been carving a replica that will be sold at auction to benefit an orphanage called The Children's Home. Both she and her sister, Claudia, grew up in the home when their mother died and their father abandoned them. The home is on the verge of closing and the statue will bring in much-needed cash. But Darius spoils Alexandra's best-laid plans when he comes to life on stage at the Ladies' Club luncheon right before the auction and right before their eyes. The ladies think Alexandra has stolen the statue, and she fears her reputation is ruined. During the ensuing crisis, Claudia is on the trail of finding their real father and Alexandra is falling in love with the god come to life, who is truly enjoying his modern day lifestyle. The contrast of ancient Greece with today's technology provides plenty of humorous situations. If you love mythology, you'll love A Greek God at the Ladies' Club.
