Imagine. You no longer have to restrict yourself to reading late in the evening after your loved ones are dosing peacefully in lullaby land. You can have more than a stolen hour during your lunch break in the office cafeteria. You can become one of those romance readers who read in strange places. Break With Tradition There are traditional places we usually settle in for a romance read. Some of us enjoy lounging on the couch. Perhaps you read in bed just before you turn the lights off for the day. Wherever your comfort place is to read, take advantage of reading in the out of the ordinary places. Have you tried sneaking in a read in these circumstances or locations? Scenario #1: When standing in line at the store, particularly during the holiday season, keep a book at the ready. Reading a page or two from a romance book makes those long lines seem less bothersome. Scenario #2: Have you found yourself seated in a reception room awaiting an appointment with your doctor, dentist, or accountant? Even a ten-minute wait makes it worth your while when you have a romance book to read. Scenario #3: If you're shuttling your children and have waiting periods, keep a book in the car. You'll love the peace and quiet with a good romance read! Scenario #4: The bathroom is, hopefully, the one place you can be left alone. If you can't find five minutes to yourself, the bathroom is the next best place to sneak in extra reading time. A Place for your Book Romance readers who read in out of the ordinary places need a place to keep their books at the ready. Your purse must be large enough to accommodate a novel size book. (Paperbacks, of course, take less space). If your purse won’t work, purchase a small satchel that fashionably matches your purse. Then you can include a small bag of M&Ms or snack if you’re planning to wait somewhere! There is always a nook or cranny where you can snatch extra reading time. Consider where your minutes are and enjoy!
